How much does it cost to replace a car key in the Bay Area?

Do you come to my location or do I bring the car to you?
We come to you. Max Locksmith is a fully mobile service — driveway, parking garage, side of the highway, anywhere in the Bay Area. We carry every common blank, fob, and transponder in the van, and we program on-site.
How fast can you get to me?
Typical dispatch is 20 to 40 minutes anywhere in San Francisco, Oakland, San Mateo, Berkeley, or the surrounding cities. Lockouts in unsafe situations (kids in the car, dark parking lot, roadside) jump the queue.
Do you program Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, and other premium brands?
Yes — we carry dealer-grade diagnostic equipment for Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, Lexus, Range Rover, and most other premium brands. We also handle all the everyday makes (Toyota, Honda, Ford, Chevy, etc).
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Max Locksmith is fully licensed and insured in California. We can show paperwork on request before any work starts.
Do you work on weekends and holidays?
We're on duty 24 / 7 — including weekends, holidays, and overnight. The phone gets answered every time. No voicemail, no answering service.
Will you damage my door or window on a lockout?
No. We use the same wedges and long-reach picks that dealer prep and roadside professionals use. We do not break windows. If we can't open it cleanly, you don't pay.
